It is characterized by its good corrosion resistance and wear resistance. It has virtually the same properties as the material CuSn12-C (CC483K), only this alloy is lead-free. Lead improves machinability in copper alloys. If very good machinability is important to you, you should therefore use our CuSn12-C in 250g bars. The bars are very easy to melt and cast. For ideal casting behavior, we recommend pouring the alloy at 1050-1100°C and first adding slag binder for copper-based alloys to the melt. As an alternative t.
