Diamond plate edge trim is 50 feet of a flexible vinyl product that is created to fit over the edge of any diamond plate sheet that is between .024 and .063 (1/16") thick. The channel is 3/8" wide. It is made with mylar which gives it a bright "chrome-like" finish. It is perfect finishing touch for garage wall panels, gym wall wainscoting, a little bling in the man cave, trailer fascia or any other light duty interior or exterior application. There is an adhesive bead inside the cap that keeps it held in place and creates a safe barrier between fingers and sharp edges. This material is made in the USA. CutsMetal is the original home of Cosmetic Diamond Plate Sheets. Vinyl trim must be installed on the sheet before mounting to your surface. Peel back the protective vinyl coating on your sheet of diamond plate approximately 1" on the edge that you plan to cover. Cut the approximate length of trim using any heavy duty scissors or shears. Starting at the corner, push the trim onto the edge of the metal moving down the length of the sheet. They vinyl trim will NOT slide into position due to the glue bead inside the channel. This is to keep the trim in place. If the vinyl is stiff or difficult to snap in place, use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the trim slightly to make it more malleable. DO NOT over heat!
