**** For Sale I have for sale, a 5/16″ x 11.040″ x 7.400″, Mic-6 Cast Aluminum Tooling Plate. Dimension tolerances are: Thickness +/- .005″ Length and width +/- 1/16″ Mic-6 is used where flatness and minimal machining distortion is required. Often used as a base plate for projects. Using proper speeds and feeds, and coolant, Mic-6 machines easier and faster than 6061 and most other aluminum alloys. There are no stringy chips when drilling. Chips are much easier to sweep or vacuum up too. It comes with both sides already surfaced with a very large face mill, then covered with easy to remove vinyl protective covers. I lightly deburr all the edges.This is new material, I hand select each piece, but I can’t guarantee a perfect mirror finish. There might be some small nicks or scratches.
